What it’s like
Water slides and a swimming pool under one roof, open weekends all year and weekdays in the school holidays.
Slides and a pool are the whole point here, and that's no bad thing. Kids get into the water and stay there, working through the slides while you keep an eye from the side or get in with them, depending how the supervision rules land on your family.
Those rules are worth knowing before you go rather than at the entrance. Anyone under 8 needs a responsible person of at least 16 in the water with them. One adult can cover one under-4 in armbands plus one 4-7 year old, so if you've got three small kids between you and a partner, you'll need to split up rather than both hover poolside.
It's open 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays right through the year, and adds weekdays too when school's off. Last entry is 3:45pm, and the slides and other features shut a quarter hour before the doors do, so don't roll up at ten to four expecting a full go on everything.
Birthday parties get a proper slot: 90 minutes in the water park followed by 45 minutes in the Party Zone for food, from £20 a head with a minimum of 10 children. There are separate pool party bookings too, a Main Pool Party at £200 and a Small Pool Party at £145, both running Saturday afternoons from 4 to 4:45pm.
