What it’s like
A one-level trail of illusion rooms and interactive puzzles that plays tricks on your eyes and your camera roll.
You wander through a series of rooms built around optical illusions, from perspective tricks to interactive challenges that need a bit of teamwork to crack. There's no ride, no queue for a big drop, just room after room where things aren't quite what they look like, and most kids end up wanting a photo in every single one.
The site reckons 45 to 60 minutes is typical, though they say you're welcome to take as long as you like once you're in. Given it's £15 a head, that quick-in-quick-out pricing feels a bit steep unless you slow right down and actually work through the puzzles rather than just snapping pictures. The family ticket at £37.50 (two adults, two children, running through summer 2026) softens that a bit if you're going as a foursome.
It's all on one floor, which makes it an easy one with a buggy or a wheelchair, and there's a fully accessible loo with a changing bench built in. One room does use strobing light, but they'll switch it off if you ask, which is a nice touch for anyone who needs that. A few of the smaller exhibits have height limits though, so don't expect every single thing to work for your shortest visitor.
You don't have to book, walk-ins are welcome, but you're given an arrival time slot either way and last entry is 5pm. If you're coming in on spec on a busy weekend, booking ahead still gets you in faster than turning up and hoping.
