What it’s like
A 75-minute close-up magic show at Liverpool Town Hall, with the bar open from the moment you arrive.
Steve Price does his close-up magic show here, the same act he takes round five-star cruise ships, and this is his first outing with it at Liverpool Town Hall. You arrive at 7pm, the bar's already open, and the show itself runs 75 minutes straight through with no interval, starting at 7.30pm.
That 7pm arrival isn't flexible either way. The Town Hall has other events on, so turning up early just means standing about outside, and since there's no break in the show you'll want to sort drinks and the loo before it starts rather than during.
There's no booking fee, which is a small mercy, but they do warn shows sell out so leaving it to the week itself is a gamble. You can't bring your own food or drink in, so it's the bar or nothing, and if you're going as a group of ten or more there's a separate contact form for that.
Parking's not on site but the NCP on Vernon Street is a short walk off Dale Street. If anyone in your party uses a wheelchair, get in touch with the venue before you book: spaces are limited by fire evacuation rules and it's down to the manager on the day.

Plan your visit
What time should we arrive?
7pm, and not before, since the Town Hall has other events running. The show starts at 7.30pm once the bar's had a chance to open.
How long is the show?
75 minutes, straight through with no interval.
Is there a booking fee?
No, the price on the ticket is what you pay. Shows do sell out though, so it's not one to leave until the last minute.
Can we bring our own food or drink?
Outside food and drink isn't allowed inside. The venue's own bar is open from the moment you arrive.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The show itself is accessible, but wheelchair spaces are limited by fire evacuation rules and it's at the venue manager's discretion. Contact them before booking if you need a space.
Is there parking nearby?
There's an NCP car park on Vernon Street, just off Dale Street, a short walk from the Town Hall.
