What it’s like
A 25m pool with a toddler pool, plus soft play and gym sessions, all under one roof in Loanhead.
The main pool is a proper 25m, with a separate toddler pool for the smaller ones who aren't ready for the deep end. Under 8s have to be in the water with an adult, and the ratio is one adult to two children under 8, so if you're outnumbered you'll want to bring backup or split the visit. Soft play runs alongside for the days when swimming isn't the plan, or as the dry-off activity afterwards.
Swimming is £2.70 for a junior and £5.30 for an adult, and under 3s go free, which is generous given some pools charge from birth. A family swim comes in at £14.70 if there's a few of you, and it usually works out cheaper than paying separately. Gym sessions are also on offer if one adult wants to peel off while the other stays with the kids, though under 16s have restrictions on gym and Health Suite use for health reasons.
Opening hours stretch from 6.30am on weekdays through to 9pm most nights, with a slightly earlier finish on Fridays and shorter hours at weekends. Soft play keeps its own timetable, starting a bit later at 7am and closing a touch earlier than the pool most days. There's a café on site for the inevitable post-swim snack, and lockers and toilets are there too.

Plan your visit
How much does swimming cost?
£2.70 for a junior, £5.30 for an adult, and under 3s swim free. A family swim is £14.70.
Do we need to book?
There's nothing listed about booking ahead, so it looks like a turn-up-and-pay situation.
Is there a toddler pool?
Yes, alongside the main 25m pool, so smaller kids have their own space.
What's the supervision rule for young children?
One adult can supervise up to two children under 8, and under 8s have to be in the water with an adult.
What are the opening hours?
6.30am to 9pm Monday to Thursday, 6.30am to 8pm on Friday, and 9am to 6pm at weekends. Soft play runs slightly different hours, starting at 7am on weekdays and closing a bit earlier.
Is there anywhere to eat?
There's a café on site for snacks and drinks after your swim.
Can older kids use the gym?
There are restrictions on under 16s using the gym and Health Suite for health reasons, so it's mainly an adult session while the kids do soft play or swimming.
