What it’s like
Slides, roller skating and mini karts under one roof, with three-lane astra slides and a cannon arena for the bigger kids to remember.
This is a big indoor play barn with a proper mix of stuff to do. The three-lane astra slide and the enclosed tube slide are the ones the over-eights will head for first, and there's a double drop slide and a wave slide alongside the ball pools if that's not enough. Roller skating and trampolining are in there too, though both need you to be over a metre tall, so check your child's height before you promise them a go.
Littler ones get their own toddlers' village for under-4s and a mini ring ball pool, kept separate from the big slides, which is exactly what you want when you've got a toddler who doesn't understand queuing yet. There's also a games zone with 80 games and a cannon arena, plus mini karts and mini golf if you want to get outside for a bit, though the rest of the outdoor play area is closed off.
Sessions run in two chunks, morning and afternoon, with roller skating and trampolining only open in the afternoon slots. Last admission on the skate is 12.30 and 4.30, and both close 15 minutes before the session ends, so don't turn up expecting a full skate right at the end. Booking online ahead is recommended and can save you up to 10% on the door price, which adds up if you're bringing more than one child.
Prices start at 50p for a baby and go up to £10.30 for a child over a metre, with adults at £3.30. You can't bring your own food in, but the café does food and drink on site and they'll sort allergies if you ask. Socks are needed for the slides and trousers are a good idea too, unless you fancy explaining a slide burn on the way home. Parking's free, and birthday parties come with a private themed room, unlimited play and a return pass worth up to £30 for the birthday child.
