What it’s like
Go karts, a boat ride splash drop and an adventure farm with goats and guinea pigs, all in one outdoor site by the Mersey.
The timber climbing frames and rope bridges are the obvious starting point, but the go karts and the mini quad race course are what get talked about on the way home. There's a 12-hole adventure mini golf course, a bouncing pillow, ride-on jeeps and Volvo diggers for the ones who like a proper vehicle, and an adventure farm with goats, bunnies and guinea pigs if you need five minutes of calm between the loud bits. The boat ride with its splash drop only runs at peak times in summer, and they're upfront that it isn't guaranteed to be open even then, so treat it as a bonus rather than the plan.
Pricing swings a lot between off peak and peak, from £4.50 for a child off peak up to £9.50 at peak times, and adults pay too, which stings a bit until you clock that admission covers the golf, the farm and the go karts for grown-ups as well. There's indoor soft play for a wet-weather fallback, though some of the outdoor activities do close in bad conditions for safety. If you're worried about a downpour ruining the day, Rainy Day Insurance is £1 a person and gets you a free return visit if it rains solidly for over an hour while you're there.
Food-wise there's a promenade café doing breakfast until 11:30 and a lunch menu after, plus an ice cream parlour, and a second café inside the park that only opens at weekends and for events. Picnics aren't allowed, so factor the food in as part of the cost. Parking is free along Otterspool Drive or at the Mersey Road car park a five-minute walk away, and Aigburth Station is about eight minutes on foot if you'd rather come by train.
Birthday parties run through the all-in package at £24.50 a child, with two hours of unlimited play, a party area in the soft play and a hot or cold buffet thrown in, though the deposit's non-refundable and no outside food is allowed bar the cake. Worth knowing the party room sits inside the soft play, which stays open to everyone else during your slot, so don't expect it roped off just for you.

Plan your visit
How much does it cost?
Child tickets run from £4.50 off peak up to £9.50 at peak times, adults from £9 to £19. Admission covers the golf, farm and go karts for everyone, not just the kids.
Do we need to book?
There's a booking option online, useful for peak times when prices and demand both go up.
What are the opening hours?
The park runs 10am to 5pm in winter and 10am to 6pm in summer, with last entry 45 minutes before close.
Is the boat ride always open?
Only during peak sessions in summer, and even then it isn't guaranteed. Worth having a backup plan in mind rather than building the visit around it.
Can we bring a picnic?
No, picnics aren't permitted, but there's a café with a full breakfast and lunch menu plus an ice cream parlour.
What if it rains?
Some outdoor activities close in bad weather for safety. Rainy Day Insurance is £1 a person and gets you a free return visit if it rains for more than an hour continuously on the day.
Is there parking?
Free parking along Otterspool Drive, plus a free car park at the top of Mersey Road about a five-minute walk away.
Can we get there by public transport?
Aigburth Station is around eight minutes on foot, and the Jericho Lane bus stop for the 500 bus is about ten minutes away.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome in the café but not inside the playground itself.
What's included in a birthday party?
The all-in package is £24.50 per child, minimum 12 and maximum 32, with two hours of unlimited play, a buffet and four free adult places. The party area is in the soft play, which stays open to the public during your slot.
Is there wheelchair access?
The site has accessible toilets and is wheelchair accessible, though there's no wheelchair or scooter hire on site at the moment.
Are there any special events?
There's a Christmas Grotto experience in December with a train ride and Santa meet, plus seasonal events like the Miss Rachel Experience, a Blippi tribute weekend and a Halloween party, each priced separately from standard entry.
