What it’s like

A sit-down cinema with waiter service, plus baby and toddler screenings if silence isn't happening anyway.

The big sell here is the baby and toddler screenings. Baby Club is for under-12-months, sound's turned down, lights stay low, and you get a hot drink and cake or popcorn thrown in with your ticket. Toddler Club does the same for ages 1 to 5, and each ticket covers both an adult and a child, which is the sort of detail that makes the price feel less annoying. Outside of those, babies under 12 months can come to ordinary U and PG films before 5pm, free, though the site's honest that you might get asked to leave if your baby isn't having it.

Food comes to your seat, which is either brilliant or mildly stressful depending on how your toddler feels about waiter service in the dark. There's a proper kitchen doing hot food alongside the usual popcorn and snacks, so it's less a quick screen-and-go and more an actual outing if you fancy making a meal of it.

For school-age kids there's Family Film Club in the holidays, off-peak screenings for 5 to 14 year olds where every child ticket is half price, no cap on numbers. Family tickets covering two adults and two under-14s exist too, though only for select screenings so it's not a given every showing has one.

Doors open at 10am, or half an hour before the first film if that's earlier. There's no parking on site, the nearest paid option is the Grafton Centre car park, and it's step-free throughout with a wheelchair spot in every screen if you need to book disabled access ahead.

Plan your visit

Can babies and toddlers actually come along?

Yes, there's Baby Club for under-12-months and Toddler Club for 1 to 5 year olds, both with the sound down and lights dimmed. Outside those, babies under 12 months can go to U and PG films before 5pm free, though you might get asked to leave if the baby's not settling.

How much are tickets?

Prices move around depending on the day, time and what's on, so it's not a flat rate. Family Film Club in the holidays gives every child ticket 50% off, however many kids you've got with you.

Is there parking?

Nothing on site. The Grafton Centre car park is the nearest paid option nearby.

What about food?

Full menu with waiter service straight to your seat, plus a Spielburger kitchen doing hot food and the usual popcorn and snacks from the bar.

Is it OK for wheelchair users?

Step-free access throughout with a removable wheelchair spot in every screen. Worth getting in touch ahead to book the disabled access position.

Can I cancel or change a booking?

Bookings are non-refundable, but you can request a change up to 24 hours before the film using their online contact form and your booking reference.
