Cinemas in Manchester
Manchester has one right in the centre: Everyman Manchester St. John's, where baby and toddler screenings come with the sound down and cake included, and school holiday films are half price for older kids. Out at Stockport, Redrock sits by the station with a proper cafe bar if the film is the whole plan, while The Light does films alongside bowling, pool and karaoke, with party packages that bundle in food and a host. Altrincham has Everyman too, a sit-down cinema with waiter service and its own baby and toddler screenings. For very small children, the toddler screenings at either Everyman are the safer bet, sound low and no need to keep them silent. Older kids with energy to spend might prefer The Light, where a birthday can run from film to bowling to karaoke in one visit. If food matters, Redrock's cafe bar and the Everyman restaurant both let you make an evening of it rather than just a screening.
