What it’s like
Free Bookbug singing sessions and Saturday Lego drop-ins, with no car park to bank on so leave time for a space on the street.
Bookbug is the big one here, songs, stories and rhymes for babies and toddlers, and it's free, which for a weekly sing-along is not nothing. Saturdays bring Lego Fun, a drop-in session that'll happily eat an hour with a primary-age kid while you get a sit down.
Hours are a bit of a puzzle to remember. Monday afternoon and evening, then a straightforward 10 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday, and a shorter Sunday window from midday. Worth a glance before you set off rather than trying to hold it all in your head.
There's no dedicated car park, just on-street spaces on Langlands Road, and if you're turning up for a popular Bookbug slot I'd give myself ten extra minutes to find one rather than arrive stressed with a toddler in tow. Once you're through the door it's easier going, the building's wheelchair accessible and there's an accessible toilet in the foyer, though it's a fair 30 metres from that entrance so factor that in if it's needed in a hurry. Baby change is there too, and wifi if you need to kill time waiting for a session to start.
Assistance dogs are fine inside, other animals aren't, which is standard for Glasgow Life buildings. If you need a wheelchair rather than bring your own, it's worth asking as some of their venues keep one to lend out free.

Plan your visit
Is it free to get in?
Entry's free, and so are the Bookbug and Lego sessions.
Do we need to book for Bookbug or Lego Fun?
There's no booking link listed, so these read as drop-in sessions you just turn up for.
Is there parking?
No car park attached to the building, just on-street spaces on Langlands Road. I'd leave a bit of extra time to find one, especially at busy times.
Is it buggy and wheelchair friendly?
The building's wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet in the foyer about 30 metres from that entrance.
Can we bring the dog?
Only assistance dogs are allowed in, other animals aren't permitted.
