What it’s like
Six themed game zones with a real armoured carrier and burned-out buses to duck behind, paintball for kids from age 7 up.
This is proper paintball, not the soft version. Six game zones to work through, including London Apocalypse with actual red double-decker buses to hide behind, Castle Wallenberg with a two-storey castle, and a Dawn of the Dead zone if your crew fancy something spookier. There's a real FV432 Armoured Personnel Carrier sat on site too, which is as much a photo op as it is a battlefield feature.
From age 7 there's Miniball, using lighter spring-loaded markers and smaller paintballs so younger kids aren't being hit with the full adult kit. Standard paintball kicks in at 10. Entry with equipment hire is £9.99, then paintballs are extra on top, £7.99 for 100, or you can go for one of the bundled packs if you know you'll get through more. It adds up fast once you factor in paintballs, so decide your budget before you turn up rather than getting drawn into buying more on the day.
Birthday parties start from £9.99 a head with morning and afternoon slots, and the birthday child gets a sergeant armband with extra lives plus an upgraded sniper barrel, a nice touch that'll matter a lot more to a ten-year-old than to you. Booking is required, not optional, and they're upfront that weekends sell out, recommending you book 10-14 days ahead. Turn up without a slot booked and you won't be playing.
Worth knowing before you commit: payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, so a no-show means you've lost that money outright. Everyone playing has to fill in an online registration form in advance, and under-16s need a parent or guardian to sign theirs. Arrive early and you might be told to wait in the car park until the team's ready for you, which is a mild faff but not a disaster.

Plan your visit
What age can kids start playing?
Seven, using Miniball with lighter spring-loaded markers and smaller paintballs. Standard paintball is from age 10.
How much does it cost?
£9.99 gets you entry and equipment hire, then paintballs are extra, £7.99 for 100. There are bundled packs too if you want more paintballs sorted upfront.
Do we need to book in advance?
Yes, and they mean it. Weekends sell out regularly, so they recommend booking 10-14 days ahead.
What if we need to cancel?
You won't get your money back. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, and a no-show forfeits your slot entirely.
Do we play against strangers?
Marshals mix groups together by age, size and experience unless you've booked a private game. Groups of 50 or more may get a complimentary private game.
Is there a form to fill in beforehand?
Every player needs an online registration form done before arriving. Anyone under 16 needs a parent or guardian to sign it.
What does a birthday party include?
Parties start from £9.99 a head with morning and afternoon sessions. The birthday child gets a sergeant armband with extra lives and a complimentary upgraded sniper barrel.
How many paintballs do we actually need?
Around 200 per game zone is typical, though it depends how trigger-happy your group is. You can top up on the day or buy an upgrade package for better value.
