What it’s like

Laser tag, paintball and airsoft missions in a multi-level indoor arena, for six-year-olds up to full airsoft squads.

Three ways to play here, and they're not all pitched at the same crowd. Laser tag is the gentler entry point, with safe kit and missions running as either one or two hours, so it works for a six-year-old's first go at this sort of thing. Paintball and airsoft sit at the other end, in an indoor multi-level arena that's clearly built for people who want a proper tactical game rather than a birthday distraction.

That range shows up in the price too. Laser tag starts at £20 a head for an hour, £30 for two, which feels fair for indoor play. Paintball is a flat £40 a person, and airsoft runs £40 for a two-hour session, or cheaper walk-on rates of £30 on Sundays and £23 on Wednesdays if you're not fussed about booking a private slot. Equipment hire is £10 on top if you need it, so factor that in before you commit a group.

Six is the minimum age across the board, which rules out a family session with younger siblings tagging along. It suits a ten-year-old's birthday party better than a toddler's day out, and the site lists birthday parties and group bookings as things they handle regularly. Booking is required rather than optional, and there's no online link.

Parking is free on site, and it's a five minute run from Newcastle city centre, which makes it an easy add-on to a day already built around town.
