What it’s like
Outdoor paintball across Hollywood-themed zones, with a lighter Miniball option for kids from age 7.
This is paintball played out across proper themed zones rather than a bare field, so you're recovering dinosaur eggs in Raptor Park one game and defending a temple from hostiles the next. From age 7 kids play Miniball, which uses lighter, spring-loaded markers and smaller paintballs. Standard paintball with full-size markers kicks in from age 10.
Sessions run for about three hours once you count kit issue, the safety brief, the games themselves and a debrief at the end, with roughly two hours of actual gameplay in the middle. Morning runs 10 to 1, afternoon 2 to 5. Pricing works in layers: a £9.99 day pass gets you in with equipment, then you add paintballs (£7.99 for 100), or you skip the maths entirely with a bundle. For adults that's the Recruit Pack at £49.99 through to Black Ops at £89.99, and for the younger Miniball players there's Young Gunz, starting at £26.99 for 300 paintballs and stepping up to £46.99 for 700. Worth doing that sum before you arrive, because paintballs run out faster than you'd think once the games get going.
Birthday parties start from £9.99 a head, and the birthday child gets a sergeant armband with extra lives plus an upgraded sniper barrel, which is a nice touch if you're the one turning ten. You do need to book ahead, ideally 10 to 14 days out and earlier still for weekends, since they sell out. One genuine faff: you can't walk in from the safari park entrance next door, everyone has to drive in or get dropped at the centre's own car park.

A day pass with equipment is £9.99, then paintballs are extra at £7.99 for 100. Bundles work out simpler: Recruit Pack is £49.99, Commando Pack £69.99, Black Ops £89.99, and the kids' Young Gunz packs run £26.99 to £46.99 depending on how many paintballs you want.
What age can kids start?
From 7, using Miniball kit which is lighter and spring-loaded with smaller paintballs. Full-size standard paintball starts at 10.
Do we need to book ahead?
Book 10 to 14 days ahead if you can, especially for a Saturday or Sunday, those sell out fastest. You can still add extra players to a booking up to a few days before.

Is there parking on site?
There's a car park right in front of the centre. You do need to drive in or get dropped there, walking in from the safari park entrance next door isn't allowed for safety reasons.
Can we book a private game just for our group?
Groups of 50 or more get a private game thrown in free. Smaller than that and it's worth ringing the booking office to talk through the rate.
What happens if someone in our group doesn't show up?
Their payment turns into credit for a future visit rather than a refund, but any paintballs they'd bought for that day are lost. Best to fill the spot if you can.
Do we need to fill anything in before we arrive?
Yes, an online registration form for every player, and under 16s need a parent or guardian to sign it.
Can you run birthday parties?
