What it’s like
Pumpkin picking in autumn and a proper Christmas barn later on, with wreath workshops and a tree kitchen and bar for the grown-ups.
Autumn here means picking your own pumpkins straight from the patch, which beats grabbing one off a supermarket shelf and gives you something to do before the light goes. Once the pumpkins are done, the farm turns over to Christmas: a barn full of decorations to browse, trees you choose and take home, and wreath and garland workshops if you fancy making your own rather than buying one ready-tied.
The wreath workshops run as evening sessions, 6pm to 8.30pm, in groups of around 15 to 18 places, and they're not cheap at £60 a ticket. That said, you get a finished wreath out of it and a couple of hours away from the usual routine, which for some people is the whole point. There's a pumpkin floral workshop too if you want a go at something a bit different from picking and carving.
Food-wise there's a seasonal café on site, and the Après Tree Kitchen & Bar is worth knowing about if you're coming as adults for an evening session and fancy a drink afterwards. Picnics are allowed if you'd rather bring your own and make a proper afternoon of the pumpkin patch.
One thing to flag: the farm is closed outside its pumpkin and Christmas seasons, so this isn't a year-round spot you can turn up to any weekend. Time it right and it's a good one for both the messy autumn bit and the cosier Christmas bit later on.

Plan your visit
How much does it cost?
Pumpkin picking pricing isn't given here, but the Christmas wreath workshop is £60 a ticket.
Do we need to book the wreath workshop?
Group sessions run at around 15 to 18 places, so it's not a wander-in-and-join sort of session, best to sort your spot ahead of the evening.
What time do the wreath workshops run?
6pm to 8.30pm, so it's an evening thing rather than a daytime activity.
Is there food on site?
A seasonal café, plus the Après Tree Kitchen & Bar if you want something more substantial or a drink.
Is the farm open all year?
No, it runs seasonally around pumpkin picking and Christmas, so it's closed the rest of the time.
