What it’s like
Crazy golf, pool and shuffleboard under one roof, with street food and cocktails for whoever's not playing.
This is a games bar that happens to let kids in, not the other way round, and it's worth knowing that before you book. Under 18s are welcome with an adult until 7pm, after which the whole place switches to 18+, so a late afternoon slot is really your only option with children in tow. Once you're through the door there's crazier golf, American pool, shuffleboard, augmented reality darts and a private karaoke pod, plus the axe throwing, though that one's adults only, so it's a spectator sport for the kids while you have a go.
Games start from £5, a meal deal is £10, and a food-and-games bundle runs from £27.50. Do a couple of games plus food for a family and it adds up fast, which is the trade-off for a venue that's really built for groups and stag or hen parties rather than a quick family outing. You don't have to book anything to get in, walk-ins are fine for food and drinks, but if you want a guaranteed slot on the games themselves it's worth locking that in ahead, especially at weekends.
The street food covers burgers, chicken tenders, fries and sharing plates, with a full cocktail and mocktail list for anyone not on the games. A standard experience runs two hours, which gives you enough time for a game or two and something to eat without feeling rushed. It's a five minute walk from Waverley Station, and it's card only inside, so leave the loose change at home.
The birthday person goes free with a big enough group, which is worth knowing if you're organising rather than just attending. Under 16s need an adult with them the whole visit, and anyone who looks under 25 will be asked for ID under the venue's Challenge 25 policy.

Plan your visit
Is there an age limit?
Under 18s are welcome with an adult until 7pm, then it becomes 18+ only. Some individual games have their own age restrictions too, axe throwing being one of them.
Do we need to book?
Not to get in, you can walk in for food and drinks any time. If you want to play the games though, booking ahead guarantees your slot, particularly at weekends.
How much does it cost?
Games start from £5, the meal deal is £10, and food-and-games bundles start from £27.50. It's not a cheap afternoon once you add up games and food for a few people.
How long do we get?
The standard experience is two hours, which is enough for a couple of games plus food without rushing.
What food is there?
Street food including burgers, chicken tenders, fries and sharing plates, plus cocktails and mocktails for anyone not playing.
Is it OK for younger kids?
Under 18s are welcome before 7pm but must be with an adult throughout, and under 16s specifically need an adult with them at all times. It's more of a games bar atmosphere than a soft play one, so it suits older kids better.
Can we do a birthday party here?
Yes, birthday, hen and stag packages are available, and the birthday person goes free with a qualifying group size.
Is there parking?
Park at the OMNi Centre car park, with the entrance on Greenside Row.
How do we get there by train?
It's about a five minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station via Calton Road and Leith Street.
Do you take cash?
It's card or contactless only throughout the venue.
Will we need ID?
If anyone in your group looks under 25 they'll be asked for ID under the Challenge 25 policy.
