Bowling in Nottingham

Nottingham has a proper cluster of lanes close to the centre. Discobowl is barely a kilometre out, with Scrapyard Golf and karaoke boxes alongside the bowling. Roxy Lanes on Bottle Lane is just as close, from £6, and once you've bowled you can move on to shuffleboard, pool or curling (bear in mind an 18+ cutoff kicks in during the evening). Tenpin, a bit further out, adds laser tag and a party package with pizza and a goody bag, from £9.95, for ages 4 and up. For toddlers or a first go, Discobowl's mix of activities under one roof gives you somewhere to switch things up if bowling alone doesn't hold their attention. Tenpin's age guidance and party bundles suit a birthday booking. If you fancy glow-in-the-dark lanes and don't mind a longer trip out to Mansfield, Superbowl charges by the game or by the lane, which works out cheaper for a group session. Evenings at Roxy Lanes are for adults only once the cutoff hits, so plan family visits earlier in the day.
