What it’s like
Bowling, Scrapyard Golf and an arcade floor under one roof, with karaoke boxes for the ones who'd rather sing than bowl.
Bowling's the obvious draw, on lanes the site calls high-tech, and it's £9.75 for an adult game or £8 for a junior, dropping to £17 and £14 if you go for two games. A family of four gets two games for £55, which sorts out the maths for you at least. Scrapyard Golf sits alongside it, £7 for adults and £5 for juniors, or £20 for a family round if you fancy putting instead of bowling.
Beyond that there's a proper arcade floor, claw machines, racing games, air hockey, plus pool tables and interactive darts at £20 an hour. Karaoke boxes are bookable too, £30 for an hour or £45 for 90 minutes if the group's in full voice. It's the sort of visit where you pick two or three of these and call it a day, since doing all of them adds up fast.
Food covers pizza, chicken strips, wings, nachos, fries and burgers, so nobody's stuck bowling on an empty stomach. The place is open from 10am daily, running till 11pm most nights and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, so there's room for an evening session once the kids are in bed if you fancy going back without them.
Kids' birthday parties run Saturday and Sunday mornings, 10 till 12, at £13.50 a head with a minimum of six: two hours of bowling, pizza, slush and a goody bag, with golf added on for £3.50 if you want both. Sensory-friendly sessions are available if you ask in advance, with reduced noise and dimmed lighting, and carers or personal assistants can come along free or at a discount for SEN and SEMH visitors.
