Arcades, VR & Gaming in Nottingham

Nottingham does well for a rainy afternoon. MeetspaceVR is right in the centre in the old YMCA gym, free-roam battles and escape rooms from £10, built for over-tens rather than younger ones. Discobowl mixes bowling, Scrapyard Golf and an arcade floor from £5, with karaoke boxes for anyone who'd rather sing than bowl. Out at Beechdale, Level Up hires the whole floor for timed Pay to Play or parties, VR racers, pinball, pool and free-roam shootouts, from £20. Funstation is free to walk into at the Cornerhouse, you just pay per game on the Funcard machines, mini bowling and VR. Penny Lane in the Lace Market is also free entry, with skee-ball and air hockey in a family daytime window before it turns into more of an evening spot. NQ64 is an 18+ arcade bar, though kids are allowed in on Sunday mornings. Roxy Lanes on Bottle Lane works well for a family bowling session too, up to its own evening 18+ cutoff.
