Cinderella

Talisman Theatre's family pantomime Cinderella, with twists on the classic tale, running over Christmas in Kenilworth.

Talisman Theatre and Arts Centre's pantomime for the festive season is Cinderella, written by Stephen Duckham. Prince Christopher swaps places with his manservant Dandini for a day of ordinary freedom and meets the Stoneybroke family, including two larger-than-life sisters, an overworked hired hand and a young woman named Cinderella. It's a mix of spectacle, music and comedy, with a strange old lady who turns out to be more than she seems. The age recommendation is 3 years and above with parental guidance; younger children are welcome but some scenes, effects or loud sounds may be a little scary. It's not recommended for babes in arms, and everyone attending, including babies and young children, must have a ticket. A Relaxed Performance is included as part of the run; see the venue website for details. Wheelchair spaces are available and can be booked through the Box Office. Concessions apply for those in full-time education or receiving a state pension, with discounted rates for group bookings of 10 or more and for Talisman theatre members.
