Tours, Trails & Treasure Hunts in Coventry

Coventry does not have a stack of formal trails on the doorstep, but the two days out here both work as a wander with a purpose, animals, mazes and things to hunt out along the way. Hatton Adventure World, a drive out to Warwick, has donkeys to walk, a zip-line and fun fair rides mixed into one big outdoor circuit, from £11.95. Closer in, The Barn At Berryfields in Meriden sets you loose among farm animals and pumpkin picking, with a synthetic ice rink and axe-throwing thrown in, from £5. Berryfields suits ages 3 and up rather than babies, and booking ahead is required. It has free parking, an accessible toilet and food on site, so it works well as a half day without much planning. Hatton is the bigger outing, with a cafe, accessible toilet and blue badge parking, and both places are dog friendly if yours is coming along. Choose Hatton for a full day of activities in one go, and Berryfields for something shorter with a sharper edge to it.
