A guided walking tour of Stratford-upon-Avon led in character by William Shakespeare himself.

Master Shakespeare returns to lead you through his home town, sharing tales of his family, his plays and sonnets, and what life was like in his day. The tour starts at the Tudor World Museum and takes in his birthplace, his children's houses, New Place and his old school before finishing at Holy Trinity Church, his final resting place. The walk covers less than a mile and is pretty flat, so it's wheelchair friendly, and the guide is happy to go at whatever pace suits the group. It runs rain or shine, so bring a brolly if the forecast looks dicey. Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children, and private tours or school group bookings can be arranged separately.
