Splash Parks & Paddling Pools in Coventry

Splash parks are thin on the ground here, so this list stretches a bit wider than Coventry itself. Caludon Castle Sports Centre, about five kilometres out, is the closest bet, with inflatable and swimming sessions from £4 and badminton courts if the older ones get bored of the water. Out at Draycote Water in Rugby there's a smooth, level path right round the reservoir, good for a proper walk with a buggy or wheelchair rather than paddling as such. And in Stratford-upon-Avon, a bit further, Wag and Splash is a heated pool for private swims and pool parties, but it's booked for dogs, not children, so save that one for the four-legged family member. For toddlers, Caludon Castle is the easiest choice, indoors, cheap to get into, and with free parking and an accessible toilet. If you fancy fresh air and some distance rather than splashing about, Draycote's path suits scooters and prams equally well. There's no proper outdoor paddling pool in the mix yet, so plan for Caludon on a wet day and Draycote when you want to be outside.
