Board Game & Play Cafés in Plymouth

Plymouth has two different takes on the board game café, right in the centre. Twist Board Game Cafe Bar has over 600 games on the shelves, pizzas and milkshakes if the family would rather eat than play, and it welcomes dogs too, which is handy if a walk is part of the plan. Round the corner, Teddy's Village is a role-play village café built for babies and under-sixes, with imaginative play areas rather than card decks and dice. If your children are small, Teddy's Village is the better fit, with its own party rooms and a café menu built around the under-6s crowd. For older kids, teenagers or a games night with other adults, Twist is the one to book ahead for, since it takes bookings and covers ages right up to 18. Both are indoors, so neither depends on the weather, and both do birthday parties if you're planning ahead.
