What it’s like
Bouncing, gymnastics classes and an obstacle course, booked into timed sessions rather than free-for-all jumping.
The bouncing here happens in set sessions, either an hour or an hour and a half, so you know exactly what you're paying for and when you're leaving. Beyond the trampolines themselves there's a purpose designed obstacle course and gymnastics classes on offer, which gives it a bit more structure than a standard jump-around and makes it work for kids who fancy trying something a bit more skilled than just bouncing.
Ages run right down to babies and up to eighteen, so a session can suit a toddler having their first bounce or a teenager after something more physical than a normal soft play. Booking is required rather than optional, and there's a café on site for drinks and snacks while you wait or watch.
Parties are where the detail matters. A play only party gets you two hours within a normal weekend session with no food or table hire included, while a full food party (£14.95 a head) gives an hour and a half of play plus half an hour for food, squash and a table set up with your child's name on the party board. Private hire is £325 for two hours if you want the whole venue to yourselves, obstacle course set to the age group and the café open for hot drinks. Deposits are £50 and non-refundable, and the balance is due a week before, which is worth knowing before you commit to a date.
One catch worth flagging: they can't cater for food allergies, and if you've booked a play only party you're not allowed to bring in your own food or cake, since the tables are limited. Opening hours vary a fair bit through the week, with a shorter Thursday afternoon slot and Saturday mornings only.
