What it’s like
Indoor go-karting and outdoor laser tag missions, plus a VR experience, but this one's strictly for the older kids and adults.
This is not a toddler venue. The karting sessions need a minimum height of 1.5m and the intro package is aimed at ages 12 and up, so you're looking at older kids and teenagers here rather than a family morning out. Two 10-minute karting sessions will cost £25, and if your lad turns up without gloves and a balaclava he'll need a hygiene pack, £4 online or £5 if you leave it to the door.
The laser tag missions run outdoors, which the site is upfront about, so dress for actual Scottish weather rather than what the forecast promises. Open missions are £15 a head, and there's a VR experience too at £6.25 if you want a change of pace between rounds. No cameras or recording devices allowed while karting, and no outside food or drink unless it is part of what you have booked, so factor that into how long you plan to stay.
Booking is required rather than optional, which is fair enough given the safety briefing every session gets. The refund policy is generous, full money back if you cancel more than 24 hours out, and you can still reschedule up to 6 hours before if plans change. For a birthday, the exclusive Combat party takes up to 14 players off-peak for £200, or there's a VR party for 8 that works out at £120 for two games.
