What it’s like

An hour of lights, bubbles, massage and messy play built for babies from a few days old up to 13 months.

This is a baby class, not a toddler one, so don't expect anyone toddling about. The hour is split across things like baby yoga, baby massage, tummy time and a bubble show, plus a themed photo backdrop if you fancy proof it happened. Parachute games and music and movement get thrown in too, and there's free play at the end for whoever's had enough of being organised.

The age range is a few days old up to 13 months, and the site's clear that the content is built to work for a newborn and a nearly-one-year-old in the same room, which is no small ask. Nobody's expected to be doing anything in particular developmentally, which takes the pressure off if your baby is having an off day.

Booking runs in six-week blocks rather than one-off drop-ins, and existing customers get first dibs before it goes to general sale, so if you want a spot you'll want to be quick once the priority window's open. It's as much about you as the baby, honestly. The site leans on this a fair bit: getting out of the house on maternity leave and talking to other adults matters, and a room full of bubbles and light shows is as good an excuse as any.

Plan your visit

What age is this for?

Newborns from a few days old up to 13 months. The class is designed to work for babies at any stage in that range.

What actually happens in a session?

A mix of light shows, music and movement, baby yoga and massage, messy play, parachute games, a bubble show and some free play, all inside an hour.

How long is a session?

One hour.

Do I need to book ahead?

Yes, and it's not a pay-as-you-go class. Booking is by six-week blocks, with existing customers getting first access before it opens up generally.

Is it just about the baby, or is it for parents too?

Both, from what they say. It's pitched as much as a way to meet other parents and break up the isolation of maternity leave as it is a development class for the baby.
