What it’s like
A tractor ride through the woods to find Santa in his cabin, with a workshop and marshmallow toasting back at the shed.
The main event is a tractor trailer ride out through the woodland to find Santa's cabin. Once there, each ticketed child gets a wrapped gift, a chat with the man himself and a pick from his toy chest, with singing and a story thrown in before you head back. It's a group experience, so you'll share the trailer with other families, though you can book a full trailer for up to 20 people if you want it kept to your own crowd.
Back at the shed there's a bouncy tractor, face painting, crafts at Santa's Workshop and marshmallow toasting to fill the rest of the visit. The tractor ride itself is only 30 minutes there and back, but they recommend at least an hour and a half on site to get through everything else, and you're welcome to stay longer. Some of these extras run on tokens at £1.50 each, bought from the shop.
Tickets are non-refundable and they want you there a full 30 minutes before your slot for check in. Turn up less than 10 minutes before and they may bump you to a later trailer, which is a proper faff if you've got a toddler already flagging in the car park. Pushchairs aren't allowed on the tractor or in Santa's house, but there's pram storage in the shed. Local food vendors are on site, including Base Pizza, and both cash and card are taken.
There are three child ticket types worth knowing before you book: a standard child ticket for over 18 months, an infant ticket with gift for 0 to 18 months, and a no-gift infant ticket for under 12 months aimed at families who've already got an older child ticketed and just need to bring the baby along. It's outdoors for part of the visit, so dress for proper Scottish winter weather rather than hoping for the best.

Plan your visit
How early do we need to arrive?
A full 30 minutes before your slot for check in. Arrive less than 10 minutes before and they can move you to a later trailer, so don't cut it fine.
How long does the whole visit take?
The tractor ride itself is 30 minutes there and back. They recommend at least an hour and a half on site once you count the shed activities, and you can stay longer if you like.
Can we get a refund if we can't make it?
Tickets are non-refundable. If someone's unwell, let them know as soon as you can and they'll try to transfer you to another date, but only if you contact them before your slot.
Which ticket do we need for a baby?
Under 12 months with no interest in a gift, there's a no-gift infant ticket. For 0 to 18 months wanting the wrapped gift and toy chest choice, it's the infant ticket with gift. Over 18 months needs the standard child ticket.
Can we bring the pushchair?
Not on the tractor or into Santa's house, but there's pram storage back at the shed.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking on site.
What's there to eat?
Local food vendors on site, including Base Pizza.
Are the shed activities included in the ticket?
Some, like the bouncy tractor and face painting, run on tokens at £1.50 each bought from the shop, so factor that in on top of your ticket.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
There's an accessible trailer, but you need to email them in advance after booking so they can place you on the right one.
