English Heritage priory ruins on Tynemouth headland - sea views, Soft Play N.

English Heritage headland fortress where priory ruins meet the North Sea. Walk the gatehouse, peer into the Percy Chantry, and take the cliff paths for Tyne mouth views.

Open daily 10am-5pm (last entry 4.15pm). Soft Play N - outdoor ruins and sea air. Parts of the choir/chapel may be on maintenance with a temporary discount - check EH before you go.

Pier Road, Tynemouth NE30. Easy Metro to Tynemouth then a short walk.
