What it’s like

Big inflatable bounces, giant slides and obstacle runs under one roof, booked in hour-long slots.

This is jumping, properly. Inflatable bounces fill the space, with giant slides and obstacle runs for anyone steady enough on their feet, and a separate toddler bouncy area for the under-5s who'd otherwise get flattened by the bigger kids. You need to be able to walk unattended to take part at all, which rules out the very youngest, but from toddling age up there's a session that fits.

Sessions run a minimum of an hour, and you're asked to arrive 15 minutes early to sign in, so build that into the school-run scramble if you're going straight from a Saturday morning somewhere else. Grip socks are compulsory and they only accept their own, £2.50 a pair, though you can bring the same pair back next time. Under-5s need an adult bouncing with them, not just watching from the side, and anyone under 16 needs an adult in the building.

Pricing is by the session rather than the child: a two-hour open bounce is £17.50, tots sessions are £12.50 with a £6.50 adult bouncer ticket if you're joining in, and there's a similar SEN session at the same price. Family bounce tickets bundle several people in for one hour at £48 or two hours at £65, which works out kinder than paying one by one if there's a few of you going. It only opens Saturdays and Sundays, so this is very much a weekend plan rather than a rainy Tuesday rescue.

Birthday parties run as three tiers. Bronze is £16.50 a head with a minimum of 12 guests, and gets you an hour of bouncing, half an hour in the party room, a host, invites and grip socks thrown in. Silver adds food and squash for £20.50 a head, and Gold at £24.50 throws in an exclusive shirt for the birthday child plus a free voucher, with every tier including that birthday voucher as standard.

Can we hire the whole place?

Exclusive Hire books the entire park for £500 for an hour, for up to 60 bouncers, including grip socks and unlimited squash.
