What it’s like

Trampolines, tumble lanes and dodgeball courts for bigger kids, with a separate softplay side for the under-fives.

This is really two venues under one roof. The trampoline park side has 72ft tumble lanes, giant airbags to launch into, flat and extreme dodgeball courts, and trampoline-sprung basketball lanes that'll have a ten-year-old showing off for the whole session. Minimum age for general jumping is 4, so if you've got a toddler in tow, the Toddler Takeover sessions are the ones to book, open from age 1.

Softplay is the calmer option, a full-sized setup for kids up to 10, and noticeably cheaper than the jump sessions, from £6.50 off-peak. Sessions run 60, 90 or 120 minutes, and peak time is Saturday and Sunday 11am to 4pm, when prices creep up by a pound or two. Weekday mornings in term time look the quietest bet if you want to avoid a crowd of school-holiday jumpers.

Grip socks are compulsory and have to be the branded ones from the venue, no bringing your own from a previous soft play. They also want you there 30 minutes before your slot for check-in and a safety briefing, which eats into your session if you're not on the ball. It's not air-conditioned either, so on a warm day it gets properly hot in there, worth bearing in mind for anyone jumping rather than just watching from the mezzanine café.

Spectators go in free and can watch from the viewing areas, and one carer gets in free alongside a paying customer with valid ID. Parking's free with disabled spaces, and there are party rooms if a birthday's on the cards, with packages running from Essential at £20.95 up to Ultimate at £33.95.

Worth knowing
Return visit for birthday child with party packages
  • Grip socks must be the venue's own branded pair, so don't bother bringing any from home
  • Arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and the safety briefing or you'll lose time from your session
  • It's not air-conditioned, so it can get very warm on a busy or sunny day
  • No outside food or drink is allowed, the café covers that instead
  • A waiver lasts 12 months once completed, so it's a one-off form rather than every visit

Plan your visit

How much does it cost?

Softplay starts at £6.50 off-peak for 60 minutes. Open Jump sessions run from £15.95 up to £25.95 depending on length and whether it's peak time.

What age is it for?

General jumping needs kids to be 4 or older. Toddler Takeover sessions bring that down to age 1, and softplay covers up to age 10.

Do we need to book?

Booking isn't required but there's a link to book ahead if you'd rather sort it in advance.

What counts as peak time?

Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 4pm. Prices are a pound or so higher then.

Do we need grip socks?

Yes, and they have to be the AirHop branded ones, not a pair from home or another park.

How early should we arrive?

30 minutes before your session for check-in and the safety briefing, so factor that into your timing.

Is there parking?

Free parking on site, with disabled spaces available.

Is there anywhere to eat?

There's a café on the mezzanine doing coffee and food. You can't bring your own food or drink in.

Do spectators pay?

Spectators get in free and can watch from the viewing areas.

Is there a carer discount?

One carer goes free alongside a paying customer when valid carer ID is shown.

Can we book a birthday party?

Party packages run from Essential at £20.95 to Ultimate at £33.95, plus softplay-only party options, with a minimum of 10 people.

Do we need to fill in a waiver every visit?

No, once you've done one it covers you for 12 months.
