This one's built for the under-8s: a bouncy castle, soft play climbing frames, sensory equipment and interactive play systems fill the main space. Term-time visits also get the Creative Area, a role-play café, dressing-up clothes, a toy doctor's station and a workbench, which is the bit worth saving for a weekday visit if you can manage it, since it's not running in the holidays.
Everything has to be booked and paid for online before you turn up, there's no adult-only admission and no walking in on the day. A child's ticket is £6, with the first two adults per booking at £2.50 each and any extra adults at £6. That's a fair price for soft play, though the no-refund, no-transfer rule on sessions is a proper faff if plans change last minute.
Socks are compulsory for everyone, kids and adults, so pack a spare pair if you're prone to forgetting. There's an on-site café for snacks and drinks, but outside food isn't allowed beyond water bottles and baby formula. Parking is free for 11 cars on-site, first come first served, with a public car park across the road offering two hours free if that fills up.
Opening hours run 9:30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 7pm on Sundays, which gives you a decent window either day. They also run Festive Fun sessions in December with a Christmas play theme, arts and crafts, a visit to Santa and a photo for every child, priced at £17.50 a child. Birthday parties are fully hosted here too, so you can hand the organising over rather than bring your own cake and candles.
