What it’s like
Outdoor go-karting on a proper circuit, with practice heats or sprint races you can book by the minute.
This is straight go-karting, no soft play or arcade bolted on. You turn up, get in a kart, and drive an outdoor circuit either as timed practice or as a proper sprint race with qualifying and race heats.
Practice is sold by the 15-minute block, one for £22, two for £42, three for £55, so the third run works out cheapest if you're going to do more than one anyway. If your lot want the racing feel rather than just laps, the sprint packages start at £32 for a single and go up to £55 for the super sprint, which bundles in qualifying before the race heats.
There's no age range given, so it's worth treating this as one for kids old enough to actually drive a kart properly rather than toddlers, though you'd want to confirm that before turning up expecting a young one to have a go. Being outdoors and on a circuit, this suits a kid who wants speed and a bit of competition over a soft play afternoon, and it's the sprint heats that'll be the bit they talk about on the way home, not the practice laps.
Sessions run in 15-minute chunks so a visit doesn't eat the whole day, but between practice runs or waiting for a race heat you can easily be there an hour or more once you count getting kitted out.
