Race the play trails and pedal paths under the pines at this Forestry England forest park. Forest access is free - you pay for parking, not a forest gate ticket. Trails, play, bike hire partners and Go Ape sit on site as separate paid operators.

Open daily except Christmas Day. Winter (after the clocks change): 08:00-17:00 with gates locking later in the evening per Forestry England notices. Spring and summer: 08:00-22:00. Visitor Centre 09:00-16:00.

Parking is ANPR pay-on-exit (card only): about £4 up to 1 hour, £7.50 for 2 hours, £11 for 3 hours, £12.50 over 3 hours. Memberships park free. Expect busy weekends and occasional forestry works or trail diversions.
