What it’s like

Wander an illuminated woodland trail of about a mile, then warm up at the stalls for hot drinks and crafts.

Heritage Wood runs an evening illuminated walk through the trees - roughly a mile of lit woodland with stalls for food, drink and crafts once you finish the trail.

It is an outdoor winter evening, so wrap up warm and pick a 15-minute arrival slot when you book. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only across four weekends from late November into December.

Honest heads-up: weather dependent, about an hour or more from central Nottinghamshire, and dogs are welcome for £1 if well behaved. Early-bird discounts tend to end by the end of September.
