Rendezvous For Dancing

What it’s like
Ballroom and Latin classes for adults of any ability, with wedding dance lessons and social nights too.
This is a dance school built around ballroom and Latin classes, plus lessons aimed at couples getting ready for a wedding dance. Classes are pitched at all abilities, so you don't need to have danced before, and you don't need to bring a partner of your own to most sessions from what they list. Twice a month there's a Friday practice night too, where the whole point is to go wrong as much as you like without anyone watching too closely.
Hours vary a fair bit by day. Sunday runs from 9am to 9.15pm, Monday to Thursday it's 1pm to 9.15pm, and Friday is the late one, open until 10.30pm. That Friday finish makes sense once you know it's also the practice night slot.
You pay as you go rather than upfront, which is one less thing to commit to before you've tried a class. New classes you can generally just turn up to, though personal lessons need booking ahead. If you're joining a class that's already running, it's worth a call first so you know what you've missed.
Footwear matters here. They ask you to skip stilettos, sandals, open backed shoes, trainers and anything with a thick rubber sole, since all of those get in the way of decent footwork. Parking is free on site, and if that fills up there's free roadside parking nearby.

Not for a new class, you can just turn up. Personal lessons do need booking ahead, and if you're joining an existing class it's worth a quick call first.
Do I need to pay in advance?
No, you pay as you attend rather than booking a block upfront.
What shoes should I wear?
Something comfortable, but they ask you to avoid stilettos, sandals, open backed shoes, trainers and thick rubber soles as these all get in the way of your dancing.

Free on-site parking, with free roadside parking as a backup if the car park's full.
What are the opening hours?
Sunday is 9am to 9.15pm, Monday to Thursday 1pm to 9.15pm, and Friday runs latest at 5pm to 10.30pm for the practice nights.
