What it’s like
Free contemporary art exhibitions in a step-free gallery space, open Thursday to Sunday.
This is a small contemporary art gallery, so what you're doing here is looking at whatever exhibition happens to be up rather than anything hands-on. It's free to get in, which makes it an easy one to fold into a wander round the city rather than a whole day out on its own.
It only opens when there's an exhibition on, Thursday to Sunday, 12pm to 6pm, so it's worth knowing the doors might just be shut if you turn up on the wrong day. Outside those hours you can ask for an appointment, which is a nice option if you're planning a special trip rather than passing by.
The space is step-free, which helps if you've got a buggy or need level access, though the gender neutral toilet only has step access so that's one to plan around. There's no exhibition-specific detail here on what's showing.
Parking is a short walk away rather than on the doorstep, with pay and display at Monastery Court or Colegate, both a few minutes on foot and both with a handful of blue badge spaces. If you're coming by train or bus it's close to Norwich station and the Tombland stop.
