What it’s like
Weekly soft play classes for babies and under-fives, on a £43-a-month membership that covers siblings too.
This is a membership setup rather than a drop-in soft play, so it suits a family who wants the same class, same time, most weeks. You sign up to one core class, split by age band from 0-10 months up to 18 months-3 years, plus a general 0-5 years group, and stick with it until your child is ready to move up. On top of that weekly slot, the membership also lets you book extra classes through their app, turn up to Open Gym on selected Saturdays, and join themed sessions, so a lot is folded into one price.
That price is £43 a month, which is more of a commitment than a one-off soft play ticket, but it does cover siblings under 5 on the same subscription, which softens the blow if you've got more than one small child to entertain. One thing worth knowing before you sign anything: leaving or pausing needs a month's written notice, and a pause is capped at one month a year.
The classes themselves run for around 45 weeks of the year, closing for bank holidays, half terms, a short Easter break and the Christmas to New Year stretch, with an optional summer programme in August that mixes indoor and outdoor sessions. Supervision is strict: one adult per child unless you have twins or you're in a Family Monkey class, and while mobile children go barefoot on the equipment, adults are asked to keep their socks on. Older or younger siblings who are not members cannot tag along to a regular class, though babies under six months are fine in a sling, car seat or pram.
Birthday parties are on offer for first to fifth birthdays, with exclusive use of the soft playgym, a party host and themes like dinosaurs, under the sea, superheroes or a teddy bears' picnic. Saturday slots are popular and the site says they fill up quickly, so that's one to book early if you want a weekend date.
