What it’s like

Gig and event venue for 14+ crowds only, with under-16s needing an adult over 18 alongside them.

This is a live music and events space, not a family day out. Shows run 14+, and if you've got a younger teenager keen to go, they need to be with an adult over 18, so it's less "drop them off" and more "you're coming too". Evenings kick off around 7:30pm most nights, a bit earlier on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and run through to 10 or 11pm depending on the night.

There's no popping out for chips halfway through. Once your ticket's scanned and you're in, that's it, no re-entry, and outside food and drink isn't allowed either (tap water's free if you just need a refill). The bars do soft drinks, alcohol and snacks like crisps, but nothing hot, so eat before you go if you want an actual meal.

Booking's through the website rather than turning up on spec, and there's a physical option too if you'd rather buy in person at Soundclash Records in town. Parking's in the main car park a couple of minutes' walk away, pay on foot with card or contactless.

Worth knowing if you're bringing a teenager: the alcohol rule cuts both ways, under-18s aren't allowed in if they've been drinking.
