What it’s like

Live gigs at a Norwich venue that's 14+ only, with under-16s needing an adult over 18 alongside them.

This is a gig venue on King Street, not a kids' attraction, so the age rule matters more than usual. Shows are 14+ across the board, and if you're bringing a younger teenager they'll need someone over 18 with them all night. It's worth knowing that even at 14+ shows, under-18s who've had a drink won't be allowed in, so that's one for the teenagers to figure out themselves.

Doors and set times shift depending on the night. Weekday gigs tend to run 6pm to 9:30pm or later, Saturdays are 6:30pm to 10pm, and Sunday shows go from 7pm to 10:30pm. Once you're scanned in you're staying in, there's no popping out and back, which is a bit of a faff if you've forgotten something in the car.

There's a bar inside serving soft drinks, alcohol and snacks like crisps, plus free tap water, but you can't bring your own food or drink unless it's for medical reasons. Parking is at Rouen Road car park, about 230 metres off, and while it's step-free there's a moderate to steep slope to manage, so factor that in if you're pushing a wheelchair or just don't fancy the hill.

If anyone needs accessibility support, free carers tickets are available for disabled guests, but you do need to email ahead and specify whether you need a wheelchair space or a seat in the viewing area. It's not guaranteed just because you've booked a companion ticket, so get that sorted before the night rather than at the door.

Plan your visit

What's the age limit here?

Most shows are 14+, and under-16s need to be with an adult over 18. Even then, under-18s can't come in if they've been drinking.

Can I leave and come back in during the show?

No, once your ticket's scanned that's it, you're in for the night. Everything you need, bar, toilets, smoking area, is inside.

Where do I park?

Rouen Road car park is the nearest one, about 230 metres away. It's step-free from there but there's a decent slope to walk up.

Can I bring my own drinks or snacks?

Not unless it's for medical reasons. There's a bar inside with soft drinks, alcohol and snacks, plus free tap water.

What if I need wheelchair access or a carer ticket?

Free carer tickets are available for disabled guests, but you need to email ahead and say whether you need a wheelchair space or a viewing seat. Booking a companion ticket doesn't automatically hold that space.
