What it’s like

Circus classes, workshops and birthday parties under one roof, with real performers running the show.

This is a proper circus training space rather than a soft play with a few hoops chucked in. Kids get stuck into circus classes and workshops, and the site lists community and professional performances happening there too, so it's worth asking what's on if you fancy watching rather than doing.

Birthday parties are a big part of what they do, and they're clearly set up for it: Saturdays from 4pm or Sunday mornings are the usual slots, with other times sometimes possible if you ask. A circus party is a genuinely different offer to the usual soft play bash, and probably the bit the birthday child will bang on about afterwards.

The building itself is wheelchair accessible, with double doors and ramp access to the toilet area and rear spaces, plus an accessible toilet. The one catch is the mezzanine level, which is stairs only, so that part of the building won't work if you're using a wheelchair.

Parking on site is limited and only for short stops. If you're coming by bus or train it's an easy enough walk, with the bus station under 15 minutes away and the railway station just over that.

Plan your visit

Do you need to book for classes and workshops?

Can you have a birthday party there?

Yes. They usually run parties Saturdays from 4pm or Sunday mornings, with other times sometimes available.

Is there parking on site?

Only limited, short-term parking on site, so it's best to use one of the nearby car parks.

The ground floor is, with double doors, ramp access and an accessible toilet. The mezzanine level is stairs only, so that bit isn't reachable by wheelchair.
