What it’s like

Paint your own pottery from over four hundred shapes, or have a go at the potters wheel or glass fusing.

This is a studio built around picking something and making it yours. Over four hundred pottery shapes to choose from means everyone from a first-time painter to someone who knows exactly what mug they want can find a blank to work with, and that range alone could keep a table busy for a good while.

Beyond the painting tables there's more going on. Glass fusing workshops and clay workshops give you something different to try if pottery painting on its own feels a bit one-note, and there are potters wheel sessions if anyone in your group fancies getting their hands properly messy rather than just holding a brush.

Booking isn't strictly required, they say they'll take painters who turn up without one where they can, but they're upfront that booking ahead is the safer bet. If you've got your heart set on a particular slot or a bigger group, that's the detail to sort first rather than chancing it on the day.

Plan your visit

Do we need to book?

Not strictly, they'll fit in painters who turn up without a booking where they can, but they say it's always best to book ahead.

What can we actually do there?

Pottery painting from over four hundred shapes, plus glass fusing workshops, clay workshops and potters wheel sessions.

Is pottery painting the only option?

No, there's glass fusing and clay workshops too if you want a change from painting, and potters wheel sessions for something more hands-on.

Can we just walk in?

They do take walk-ins where they can, but booking is recommended so you're not left hoping for a space.
