What it’s like
Weekly dance, singing and acting classes in Cardiff for ages 3 to 18, with a performance team for the ones who want to go further.
This is a term-time drama and dance school rather than a one-off show, so the classes run weekly and build up over the year. Kids can go for ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary or street dance, try acrobatics, take singing lessons that lead towards LCM and ABRSM exams, or get stuck into acting and theatre school. There are performance opportunities through the year too, so it is not all classroom work, and a dedicated performance team for ages 5 to 18 for kids who fancy more of a commitment.
The pricing is set up by how many sessions a week you want, from £27 for one session up to £67 for four, or £80 for unlimited if your child is set on the performance route. Adults get a look in as well, at £32.40 for one weekly session or £64.80 unlimited, which is a nice touch if a parent fancies joining a class rather than just doing the school run. Ages run from 3 right up to 18, so younger kids doing their first dance steps and teenagers working towards singing exams or a place on the performance team are both catered for, just not necessarily in the same class.
