What it’s like

Bouncing across 70-plus linked trampolines, an airbag for flips and a dodgeball arena, with a Mini Bouncers slot for the under-fives.

Once the grip socks are on, the main draw is the connected trampoline court, over 70 beds linked together with basketball lanes, balance beams and a parkour section along the side. Older kids and confident jumpers head for the airbag to try flips, and the dodgeball arena is the bit that turns into a proper contest once a few families team up. There's wall walking too, if bouncing on its own isn't quite enough.

Ages run from 1 to 99 on paper, but the site is specific about how that works in practice. Under-sixes need an adult with them on a strict one-to-one ratio during Open Jump, and children aged 6 and up can jump unsupervised. If you've got a toddler, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (and daily in school holidays) have a Mini Bouncers session from 10 to 11am just for the 1 to 5s, with no older kids allowed in at the same time, so it's worth timing your visit around that rather than turning up whenever.

Grip socks are compulsory and cost £2.50 a pair if you don't already own some from a previous visit, which is a small extra to factor in on top of whatever the session costs. There's a 16 stone weight limit per the trampoline manufacturer's guidelines, and everyone has to fill in a disclaimer before jumping, adults for under-16s, over-16s for themselves. The café has a viewing area and does Doughboys pizzas, useful if one adult wants to sit out and watch rather than jump.

Booking isn't strictly required, they take walk-ins subject to availability, but they do advise booking ahead and completing the disclaimer online so you're not doing paperwork on arrival. Peak times are from 3pm Friday through the whole weekend, plus bank holidays and school holidays, and that's when it'll be busiest. Last entry is an hour before closing, and it's card only if you're paying on the day for anything beyond cash at the till.

Plan your visit

Do we need to book in advance?

Not strictly, they take walk-ins subject to availability, but they advise booking ahead and doing your disclaimer online so it's smoother on arrival.

Is it OK for a toddler?

There's a Mini Bouncers session for ages 1 to 5 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and daily in school holidays, 10 to 11am, with no older kids in that slot. Outside of that, under-sixes need an adult with them one-to-one.

Do grown-ups need to jump too if a toddler's on the court?

Yes, children aged 2 to 5 must be supervised by an adult on a strict one-to-one ratio during Open Jump sessions.

Do I have to wear grip socks?

They're compulsory. £2.50 a pair from Front of House, and you can reuse the same pair on later visits.

Is there a weight limit?

16 stone or 101 kilograms, based on the trampoline manufacturer's guidelines.

What are the busiest times?

Peak is from 3pm Friday through the whole weekend, plus bank holidays and all school holiday periods. Monday to Thursday and Friday mornings in term time are off-peak.

What if I need to cancel?

Bookings aren't refundable, so it's worth being sure of your date before paying. They'll try to move your booking to another time if you call ahead.

What's there to eat?

There's a café with a viewing area serving Doughboys pizzas and other food, useful if someone wants to watch rather than bounce.

Can we bring our own food?

Outside food and drink isn't allowed in the building.

Do you do birthday parties?

Party packages need a minimum of 10 participants in party rooms that hold up to 25, with add-ons like sweet cones and a UV party. There's a 20% non-refundable deposit.
