What it’s like
Woodland paintball battles across six themed zones, with a lightweight Miniball option for kids from age 7.
This is proper paintball, not a scaled-down toy version, but there's a version built for younger players too. From age 7, kids play Miniball with lightweight, spring-loaded markers and smaller paintballs, while anyone 10 and up moves onto the full-size equipment. Either way you're running around six game zones with names like A Bridge Too Far and Vietcong Village, ducking behind cover and trying to tag the other team before they get you.
A day pass covering entry and kit is £9.99, but that's before paintballs, which is where the real spend happens. The Young Gunz packages bundle everything in, from 300 balls at £26.99 up to 700 at £46.99, and you can top up at £7.99 per 100 if your team gets carried away. Roughly 200 paintballs per zone is what they reckon you'll get through, which gives you a rough idea of how far each package stretches.
Marshals split everyone into teams by age and experience, so a solo booking or a small group still ends up in a proper match rather than standing about waiting for numbers. Birthday parties get a nice touch too: the birthday child wears a Sergeant armband, gets extra lives and an upgraded sniper barrel, and there are Top Gun certificates for the best shots on the day.
Booking ahead matters here. Weekends sell out 10 to 14 days out fairly regularly, and last-minute slots are the exception rather than the rule. Everyone under 16 needs a registration form signed by a parent or guardian before they arrive, and it's worth doing that online in advance rather than faffing with paperwork on the day. One thing to flag: full-day sessions don't run any more, so check what you're actually booking into rather than assuming it's an all-day event.

How much does it cost?
Entry and equipment is £9.99 on its own, but most people go for a paintball bundle. Young Gunz packages start at £26.99 for 300 paintballs and go up to £46.99 for 700, with extra paintballs at £7.99 per 100.
What age can kids start?
From 7 years old, using Miniball with lighter, spring-loaded markers and smaller paintballs. Standard full-size paintball kicks in from age 10.
Do we need to book in advance?
Booking 10 to 14 days ahead is recommended, especially for weekends, which frequently sell out. Last-minute bookings sometimes get in, but don't count on it.
Is there a minimum group size?
No minimum or maximum for standard sessions, so solo players and small groups are welcome. Marshals mix everyone into teams by age and experience level.
What's included in a birthday party?
Parties start from £9.99 per person, and the birthday child gets a Sergeant armband with extra lives and an upgraded sniper barrel. Top Gun certificates go to the highest scorers.
What if someone doesn't turn up on the day?
Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, though the value can be carried forward as credit for a future booking. Any paintballs allocated to a no-show can't be passed to another player.
