What it’s like
You've got 60 minutes to solve your way out of one of 15 themed rooms, working as a private team with nobody else added in.
You and your team get locked in together, with 60 minutes on the clock to work through puzzles, riddles and challenges before the walls (metaphorically) close in. There are 15 different themed rooms to pick from, and every booking is private, so it's just your group in there, no strangers thrown in to help or hinder. If you fancy a scare, Creepy Carnival gets flagged as the spookiest option, though they're clear it's not full-on horror.
This one's for kids aged 8 and up rather than a toddler activity, and under-12s need an adult with them throughout. Teens aged 12 to 16 get a bit more freedom and can play some rooms without an adult in the room, as long as one stays on the premises. If your babysitter cancels on you, you can bring younger children along too; under-6s aren't charged, though 6 and above pay as standard players.
The strict timing is the bit that catches people out. Arrive more than 15 minutes late and your game clock starts anyway, more than 20 minutes and it's cancelled with no refund. Once you've booked, there's no refund if plans change, only a free reschedule if you give more than 24 hours notice. No photos or filming inside, but they take a free group shot for you once you're out, win or lose.
Parking's free with no time limit, which is one less thing to think about, and there's a bus stop a short walk away if you're coming without a car. It's not wheelchair-accessible though, and some of the premises have staircases.

Plan your visit
How long does it take?
The game itself is 60 minutes, plus a briefing beforehand. You need to arrive at your booked time for that.
What age is it suitable for?
Children need to be 8 or over really, and under-12s must have an adult with them in the room. Kids 12 to 16 can play some rooms unaccompanied as long as an adult stays on site.
Do we need to book in advance?
Booking ahead gets you a guaranteed slot. Walk-ins are possible if there's space on the day, but you're relying on availability.
What if we're late or need to cancel?
More than 15 minutes late and your game timer starts without you, more than 20 minutes and it's cancelled with no refund. Cancellations generally aren't refunded either, though you can reschedule for free with more than 24 hours notice.
Is there parking?
Free on-site parking with no time limit.
Can we take photos inside?
No photos or videos allowed in the rooms, but you get a free group photo taken after the game.
