What it’s like

Trampolines, air bags and inflatables under one roof, with sessions timed to the hour and a toddler-only bounce for the under-5s.

The main courts do what you'd expect: wall-to-wall trampolines, big air bags to launch into, obstacle courses and hoops for anyone chasing a bit of height. There's a dedicated soft play area too, so if you've got a toddler who isn't ready for the big stuff yet, they're not left standing at the edge. Under 4s do need a paying adult with them on the equipment, which is fair enough for safety but does mean it's not a cheap sit-and-watch morning if you've got a small one.

Sessions run to the hour, and they want you there 20 minutes early for the waiver check and safety brief, which starts 10 minutes before the jump itself. Turn up on time and you'll have queued through admin before you've even got your socks on. Prices start from £9.95 for an off-peak bounce, with parent and toddler sessions and under 10s slots priced separately, and grip socks get added to your first visit fee then you keep them for next time. Booking ahead is cheaper than walking in, though they will let you in on the day if there's space.

Food-wise, you can't bring your own beyond a birthday cake, but the Altitude Lounge does hot and cold food courtside so you're not stuck fasting through a session. There are no changing rooms on site, which is worth knowing if you're coming straight from somewhere else. Parking is free on site, with the Mercure Hotel as an overflow if the car park's full, which the site admits happens at peak times.

Birthday parties run from toddler ones at £14.99pp up to a £37.50pp sleepover, with group sizes from 6 to 20 depending on which one you pick. The exclusive party at £23.50pp buys you the place to yourselves rather than sharing courts with other jumpers, which is the one to save for if you want a proper takeover feel.

Plan your visit

How much does it cost?

Off-peak bounces start at £9.95, with parent and toddler sessions and other slots priced separately depending on the day and time.

Do we need to book?

Booking ahead is cheaper, and you can usually walk in if there's space on the day.

Is it any good for toddlers?

There are parent and toddler sessions for under 5s and a dedicated soft play area, but under 4s need a paying adult with them on the equipment.

What time should we arrive?

Twenty minutes before your session, so they can check your waiver and get you through the safety brief which starts 10 minutes before jumping.

What do we wear?

Athletic clothing with some stretch, tracksuit bottoms rather than dresses or loose tops. Grip socks are compulsory and get added to your admission the first visit, then you keep them.

Can we bring our own food?

No self-catering is allowed apart from a birthday cake. The Altitude Lounge does hot and cold food and drinks courtside.

Is there parking?

Free parking on site, with the Mercure Hotel as extra parking if it fills up at peak times.

Are there changing rooms?

There are no changing rooms on site, so come dressed and ready to jump.

What about birthday parties?

Parties run from £14.99pp for toddlers up to £37.50pp for a sleepover party, with group sizes of 6 to 20 depending on the type.

Is there an age limit?

No age limit, but there are age-appropriate sessions: toddler sessions for 1 to 5s, under 10s sessions, and freestyle for 4 and above.

Can pregnant people take part?

Pregnant people can't use the trampolines or inflatables, but there's a courtside café to watch from instead.

Is it refundable if plans change?

You need 28 days notice for a refund. Less than that but more than 7 days gets you a transfer instead, valid up to the session start time.
