What it’s like

Horror-themed escape rooms where you solve puzzles under a strict clock, built for teens over 12 and braver adults.

This one's not for the under-12s or the easily spooked. The rooms lean into horror movie territory, with Hell In A Cellar and The Execution named as the properly unsettling ones, plus The Ward if you want a slightly different flavour of dread. Groups work together to crack the puzzles and get out before time runs out, which is the whole point and also the whole fun of it.

They recommend players are over 14 for the scarier rooms, though they'll let 12 and 13 year olds in if a parent or guardian comes along. Worth knowing before you book a big group day out, since this rules out younger siblings entirely rather than just the toddlers you'd expect.

Capacity is tight, somewhere around 8 to 11 players a session, and they're upfront about not wanting to water down the experience by cramming more in. The schedule is run tight too. Turn up at least 5 minutes early or you risk the briefing starting without you catching all of it, and if you're properly late they may not wait, especially if another group's booked in straight after. Cancel and you won't get a refund, though they'll let you pass your tickets on to someone else if plans change.

There's no wheelchair access, which is a genuine limiting practicality rather than an oversight worth glossing over. If your group's all mobile and old enough for the scares, this is a tightly run couple of hours built entirely around the puzzles and the tension, not much else going on around it.

Plan your visit

What age is this suitable for?

They recommend 14 and over for the scarier rooms like Hell In A Cellar and The Execution. 12 and 13 year olds can play if a parent or guardian comes with them.

How many people can play at once?

Usually up to 8, though they've taken groups of 11 before. They keep it capped so the experience doesn't get diluted.

What happens if we're running late?

They stick to a tight schedule, so there is no guarantee they will wait for you. If nobody else is booked in after your slot they might stretch it, but do not count on it.

Can we get a refund if we need to cancel?

No refunds on any bookings. You can transfer your tickets to someone else for the same time slot instead.
