Escape Rooms in Bristol
If you fancy an hour locked in a room together, Bristol's got a decent spread within a couple of km of the centre. Houdini's Escape Room Experience takes ages 6 and up, so it's an option for family teams, an hour to crack puzzles and riddles with just your own group in the room. Hell in a Cell is the other end of the scale, horror-themed and strictly 12+, built for teens and adults who don't mind a scare under a ticking clock. Wake the Tiger isn't really an escape room at all, more a self-guided art maze of over 40 surreal spaces with a slide, and it takes ages 0-16. For younger kids, Wake the Tiger is the one to wander rather than race, no locks or clocks involved. If your children are 6 or over and you want that classic team-versus-the-room feeling, Houdini's fits, and there's free parking and food on site. Save Hell in a Cell for when the kids are older, or for a night out without them, since it's 12+ and built to unsettle a bit.
