What it’s like
A day camp for 4 to 11 year olds mixing STEM, sport and creative sessions, booked day by day rather than a whole week at a time.
Days here are built around a mix rather than one big activity: STEM sessions, outdoor play, creative projects and sport coached by qualified staff. It suits the kind of kid who'd get bored doing the same thing five days running, since the whole point of Global Camps is that you don't have to book the whole week the same way twice.
Main Camp is £38 a day, and you pick and choose which days you need rather than committing to a block, which is a genuinely useful bit of flexibility if your week's a patchwork of grandparents, other clubs and actual work. If you need the day to stretch further, Breakfast Club runs 7:45 to 8:30 for £5 and After Club runs 3:30 to 6pm for £12, both bookable per session rather than as a package. Add a second child and you get 10% off, and there are discounted rates if you do book a full week after all.
They take debit and credit cards, Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers, which is worth knowing if you're trying to make the most of a childcare budget rather than paying full price out of pocket. At £38 a day before wraparound care, it's not pocket change, but the flexibility to book just the Tuesday and Thursday you actually need, rather than paying for a week you don't, takes some of the sting out.
