What it’s like

Exercise-based holiday camps and term-time classes for toddlers up, plus obstacle-course and multi-sports birthday parties.

This is a movement and exercise setup rather than free-play soft play, split by age. Recruits takes toddlers from 18 months, Troopers picks up at 3 to 5, and there are private classes too for the over-3s. Term-time you can book a single class or the whole term, whichever suits your diary.

Holiday camps run to a proper structure. There's a shorter session and a 10am to 2pm option, and if your child's doing the longer one you'll need to pack a nut and seed free lunch and some water. Drop-off can't happen before 10am since staff are still setting up and briefing, so plan your morning around that. Under-3s aren't allowed into the 4 hour camp, which is a firm line rather than a guideline, and if your child only wants part of the session you're still charged for the whole thing.

Birthday parties start from age 3 and run for two hours, with themes covering classic games, multi-sports, football skills and an army obstacle-course version with team challenges. Penalty shoot-outs and age-appropriate races feature in the sports party, and the soldier theme leans into obstacle courses rather than musical statues. Booking ahead is non-negotiable across the board, for classes and camps alike, since they staff to numbers rather than winging it on the day.

One thing to flag if you've got a toddler still in nappies: staff support children who use the toilet themselves but don't provide or encourage potties, so that's worth thinking through before you book the drop-off camp.
