What it’s like
A big trampoline arena with a ninja course, foam pits and an inflatable sports pitch, sold in one or two hour slots.
The main arena is rows of trampolines with a foam pit at the end for the brave ones to launch into, plus a timed ninja assault course, a Wipe Out style challenge and a reaction wall for the kids who want to test themselves against the clock. There's a huge inflatable to bounce round, a Slamball hoop, a basketball swish challenge and soft play for the smaller ones who aren't ready for the big stuff. Some of the novelty attractions have height and age limits, so it's worth having a quick look at what your child can actually get on before you build it up in the car.
It runs from walking age, and anyone four and under needs a paying adult in with them, which the one hour Toddler Time slot at £8 is built for. Everyone else pays £14.95 for an hour or £19.95 for two, with under fives and the supervising adult at a lower rate. A family pass for four comes in at £48 for an hour or £68 for two, and there's a genuine 2-4-1 on Wednesdays and a BOGOF deal if you catch the right day. Grip socks are compulsory at £3 if you turn up without your own, and that's an extra nobody mentions until you're at the till.
You need to get there thirty minutes before your slot for check-in, and if you're late they can bump you to the next session, which is a proper faff if you've fought traffic to get there. Sessions sell out at weekends and in the holidays, so booking ahead is the safer bet even though walk-ups are technically allowed. Spectators don't pay, so grandparents can sit it out with a coffee from the Flip Café, and The Diner does a proper food menu if you're stopping longer than a quick bounce.
Parking is free and on site, which takes the sting out of the ticket price a bit. Tuesdays in term time only run 10am to 2pm, so don't plan a Tuesday afternoon trip during school weeks. Birthday parties come in three flavours, from the £18 Toddler Party up to the £26.95 per person Awesome Package, all with a private room and food thrown in.
